What homeschooling items will you accept?We accept a wide variety of gently used homeschool items for pre-K through 12th grade, including but not limited to: textbooks, workbooks, activity books, manipulatives, media, science supplies, geography aids, educational games, curriculum materials, and other teaching aids. What type of clothing and accessories will you accept?Crossroads Consignment accepts quality clothing, shoes, and accessories for babies and children. We accept clothing items in sizes newborn to size 16 that are in good condition, free of any rips, stains, or odors. We do not accept items that are outdated, stained, torn, or excessively worn. We also accept children's dress up clothing and costumes, sports, dance, gymnastics wear, and ALL baby gear and essentials. Please review our consigning policy for more information.

How do I drop off items?Items will be accepted during our normal business hours. You do not need an appointment. Simply bring in your items and fill out a drop-off slip. Drop-off quantities are limited to one (1) large box or bag OR two (2) small boxes or bags at a time and should be no more frequent than once weekly. What is a typical consignment period & what happens if my items do not sell?For homeschool & educational items, toys & baby equipment, the consignment period will usually be twelve (12) months. After six (6) months, the price may be reduced by 25%. After nine (9) months, the price may be reduced by 50%. Consignors may opt to come to the store to locate & retrieve any unsold items during the last (12th) month of their consignment period however, it is the responsibility of the consignor to keep up with their consignment period & return for their items before it ends. The store cannot notify consignors of this occurrence. After 12 months, items will automatically become the property of Crossroads Consignment if not sold or picked up by the consignor & may be donated at the store’s discretion. For clothing, the consignment period will be the appropriate season for the item. In general, Spring & Summer clothing will be accepted from February through June and Fall & Winter clothing with be accepted from August through December. NO clothing will be accepted during the months of July & January. Prices may be reduced towards the end of the particular season to encourage sale. Any clothing that remains unsold at the completion of the consignment period/season becomes the property of Crossroads Consignment & may be donated at the store’s discretion. Please note that all items are subject to our quality standards and may not be accepted for consignment or donation if they do not meet our criteria. How do I get paid for my items that sell?You may choose one of two options for your consignment pay-out Option 1: Store Credit Consignors choosing this option will receive 50% of the selling price of all items sold in the form of a store credit. This credit accrues on your account & never expires. It can be used at any time to purchase items in the store. Option 2: Check Pay-out Consignors choosing this option will receive 40% of the selling price of all items sold. Any account with a balance of at least $50.00 at the end of each month will be paid out in full. Checks will be mailed by the 10th day of the following month to your home address. Any account balance of less than $50.00 will remain on the account or may be applied to in-store purchases if desired. Checks will NOT be issued for amounts less than $50.00.
